Dr. Brian Gale, MD, MBA, Founder and Managing Member of SaferMD, is a radiologist and Director of Radiology Informatics at a top medical school in New York City. He founded SaferMD to reduce medical errors resulting from failure to communicate diagnostic test results to referring clinicians and patients. He is a national expert on Critical Test Results Management (CTRM) systems and is patenting a system to independently verify for third parties (such as insurance underwriters) that such programs are used effectively. Dr. Gale graduated from SUNY Buffalo School of Medicine and Columbia Business School in New York City. He is a past president of the Brooklyn Radiological Society and lectures on the business of radiology, messaging protocols, malpractice insurance, informed consent, diagnostic test result communications, practice valuation, accountable care organizations, meaningful use, employment contracts and personal finance.


Ben Tandowski, PhD, IT Director for SaferMD, has 35 years of experience in computer technology, strategic planning, technical innovation management, strategic business development, large project management, and in building teams and organizations. In 1985, after 10 years in technical and leadership positions at Union Carbide and Exxon Research, Mr. Tandowski founded PCSI, which created innovative and vital computer systems for the NFL, Pfizer, Cushman and Wakefield, AT&T and others. In 2001 PCSI merged with Ness Technologies (NASDAQ:NSTC), the largest IT service firm in Israel. At Ness he was Chief Technology Officer and President of Ness USA. Mr. Tandowski holds a PhD in Engineering from City University of New York, where he was a National Science Foundation Fellow.
